At Community Church we are aware of the increasing number of seniors in Greenwood, Indianapolis, and surrounding areas.

We recognize that many of our fellow seniors do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord.

Therefore, we seek to develop programs, outreach ministries, and other avenues of service to reach unchurched individuals as well as to nurture and encourage fellow believers in Christ.

We meet once a month for fellowship. The programs vary from luncheon meetings, in-house movies, musical programs, seminars, and guest speakers that cover all types of topics pertaining to seniors. Mission programs and trips are also a part of their schedule. Field trips to symphonic orchestra concerts, museums, shopping outings, and villages of an historical nature keep this group young and active.

In addition to the monthly events, each Sunday night at 5:15 p.m. in the Hospitality Center we meet for "Body Life”. We share prayer requests, sing old songs, and enjoy lots of fellowship for the evening.

There is never a dull moment when the seniors of Community Church are together, and you can guarantee there will be an abundance of food for body, mind, and soul.
