Mission Trip Testimony
In January 2008, I went to El Salvador with a very special group of people to minister to the children in and around Santa Ana. It was an amazing trip that touched my heart far deeper than words could ever express. God has definitely shown me that stepping out in faith and out of our comfort zone allows me to see my Heavenly Father in new ways and deepens my love for Him even more. This year the Lord has shown me how important relationships are. Because of our personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we hold the answer to the hope that so many are looking for, Jesus commands us to share that hope. As we built relationships with our team members, our families in El Salvador, the people in the church, Hal and Cheryl, we came together to impact close to 2000 children for the kingdom...building a bridge to help show them the hope that is found in the ultimate relationship - the one found in Jesus Christ!!! There is no greater joy than seeing little ones receive the Lord and hearing later that many doors are opening for the Family of Faith church as they continue to build relationships with those seeking the hope that we possess. This trip impacted me, but more than anything it has impacted the hearts and lives of many who will hear about Jesus - it truly is - all about Jesus.
