WELCOME TO WAY WALKERS CHILDREN'S MINISTRY!

We are so excited about what God is doing in the Children's Ministry at Community Church of Greenwood! The Children’s Ministry exists to help parents teach their children to love God, love each other and love the lost!

Our ministry to children exists only as a team effort between the parent and ourselves with the principal instructor being the parent.  Our highest ambitions are to teach children how to have a relationship with Christ, how to continue maturing that relationship through personal discipleship and how to share their assurance in Christ with others. Through the use of tools such as drama, music, engaging lessons, relationships and ministry opportunities that themselves use humor, excitement, creativity, nurturing and evangelism, kids are taught the word of God while at the same time being able to be just ‘kids’.

All kids are invited and welcomed at Community Church. Whether your child is 3 years old, 3 months old or in grade 5, they will come not only to a place were love is spoken in the form of Jesus Christ, but also to a place that is fun, loving and safe. Come and be a part of the excitement that never stops, the learning that never ends and the joy that never ceases!

WHAT HAPPENS AT HOME IMPACTS HOME

The average child will spend over 1000 hours every year in school and they will spend less than 50 hours in church.  The average parent has more than 10 times the opportunities to discuss spiritual issues in one year than a church leader does in 10 years.  The church has limited potential to impact the heart of your child.  WHAT HAPPENS AT HOME in many ways is more important than what happens at church!
