The internet is a resource many of us can't imagine being without. The internet to our kids today is a resource that has always been there and will always be. Now that it is as common as the television in most households, the dangers that lurk on that vast world wide web are often overlooked.
You don't need to go to an adult website to see adult materials. You can often find banner ads on blogs, popular news sites, and shopping sites that are entirely inappropriate for kids (and adults). It's time we guard our kids' eyes (as well as our own) from this inappropriate material.
