What is the Equipping Ministry?

Simply put, it is putting the right person in the right ministry at the right time for the right reasons. Rather than involving people in ministries they are not particularly called to or gifted to do, the Equipping Ministry team assists individuals find their unique places to serve God, find another ministry in which to serve when a change is desired, and celebrate the joy of ministry itself.

You can be a part of one of these exciting teams!

• Discovery Team - help others discover their spiritual gifts, heart for ministry, ministry style, and more to build their unique ministry profiles.
• Placement Team - utilize ministry profiles as you get to know others better and connect them to active ministry that fits their giftedness.
• Computer Team - enter ministry profile information, ministry interests, spiritual gifts, heart for ministry, ministry involvement, and nurturing activities for our members.
• Ministry Descriptions - help create and update ministry descriptions for every ministry position at Community Church.
• Training and Follow-up - demonstrate care for those in ministry, helping people reflect on their present ministry involvement, facilitating any needed training or support, and find another ministry when a ministry change is desired.
• Celebration Team - assist in facilitating the celebration of members in ministry.
